| Located in the heart of Ogunquit Village, the
Black Boar is mere steps from numerous fine restaurants, art galleries, antique and other
fine shops, and the clubs. We are a five minute walk from one of the most beautiful,
sandy beaches on the East Coast... and the renowned and lovely Marginal Way.
Built in 1674, with one major
addition in 1720 and one (in the classic style) during the early 1800's, the Inn offers
large, quiet, fire placed bedrooms ~ all with private, tiled baths complete with modern
amenities. The comfortable common rooms provide a casual place to read, to relax with old
friends and to make new ones. The 50 foot terrace overlooks the front gardens and provides
the perfect spot to watch our small Village pass by. A stay at The Black Boar Inn includes
a full gourmet breakfast and a lovely afternoon tea (Weekends only) ~ each served in a friendly atmosphere
of charm and grace. Your comfort and pleasure are our paramount concerns, and we look
forward to serving you.
We shall be opening for the 2007 Season on Friday,
May, 25th of Memorial Day Weekend
